MIDSUMMER/LITHA
MidSummer, Summer Solstice or Litha is the next Sabbat to be celebrated on the Wheel of the Year!
This Sabbat marks the peak of the solar cycle …..the longest day of the year!
The energy of this Sabbat is active: it’s about doing and expanding, living the dream envisioned in the dreamtime of winter.
At the peak point of summer bloom, prayers for blessings on the crops are asked of the Goddess. The Earth is fertile,
and
the womb of the Earth Mother is now ripe with life as She begins to pour forth Her creations in the
form of growing fields, trees, flowers, and animals.

How will you celebrate?

BELTANE
May Eve is fast approaching! The Goddess Temple celebrates this Sabbat in the Dianic tradition…..
The Maiden aspect of the Goddess will soon be experiencing Her first Moonblood on this day; and it is a cause for great rejoicing!
It is also a celebration of Spring in all Her glory!!

A lovely squall of tiny white snowflakes quickly cooled any thought of a long morning walk to check on spring bulbs. The earth is warming up, though, and signs of rebirth are present….
- In the red buds on the trees
- In the return of migrating birds
- In the brief, but brilliant, bursts of sunshine
So we have to ask….
What signs do you see?
How do you celebrate Spring?
What are your Ostara traditions?
